Mystery of Malcha Mahal in Delhi

Mysterious doesn't mean ghostly all time. But in case of rumours, the distinction vanishes easily. But when it's about Malcha Mahal we can't exclude it from our listing. May be it is not haunted at all, but have some story to tell.

Malcha Mahal became govt's undertaking. But Princess Wilayat Mahal, the Begum of Oudh and the great granddaughter of Nawab Wajid Ali Shah of Oudh continues legal fighting with Indian Govt for possession in Malcha Mahal.After India's freedom they was left was left with only old glories and reputation. Wilayat Mahal took a different way of protest. The royal blood confined herself to her two children and their dog in the VIP lounge of New Delhi Railway Station. Finally the govt decided to give back Malcha Mahal to the family in 1985. But at that time it was not that Malcha Mahal created for a king. It turned rag-tag, spooky place risky for her family. They began their life totally being separated from the outer world.On December 10, 1993 Begum Wilayat Mahal committed suicide. After her death, her two children couldn't bury her. The begum's body was placed on the study desk for 10 days. In the meantime, her children slept with her dead body too. Her daughter princess Sakina started wearing only black after Begum's death.
